On est donc invité à évoluer dans un univers gourmand et décalé, entre le familier et l'étranger. La carrelage coloré devient dorénavant nappes de pique-nique, et les vases métamorphosés en luminaires. Avec cette table, Pia Chevalier propose un jeu qui se déroulerait aux frontières du réel et du merveilleux et ses clés, dispersées dans la symbolique du rêve.

For this dining table, Pia Chevalier reinterprets the iconic tea party scene from the film Alice in Wonderland. We are thus invited to immerse ourselves in a whimsical and playful universe, straddling the line between the familiar and the foreign. The colorful tiles now become picnic blankets, and the vases are transformed into lighting fixtures. With this table, Pia Chevalier presents a game that unfolds at the boundaries of the real and the marvelous, with its keys scattered throughout the symbolism of dreams.
