Juliette learned goldsmithing and gem-cutting at the Atelier Clouet in Paris, then at Gilles Royaux's workshop. She has since moved to Greece, first to Crete and then to Athens. Her interest in the plastic arts has led her to travel to Asia and Africa every year, providing her of inspiration.Inspirations that come as much from a piece of architecture, a piece of antiquity, an exotic or a Shiva seed, brought back from her travels.Juliette doesn't just love history, she loves nature too; her jewels speak of the sea and the sun.Working in gold and silver, she models her jewels like an ancient craftsman, and even when she adds stones, she inevitably evokes distant times and countries. However, everything has been digested, rethought and recreated... She has put her dreams and imagination into it, and left nothing to chance. left to chance.An asymmetry, an enigmatic simplicity, the combination of materials or themes jewels in their own right, in keeping with her original and endearing personality.
