A stainless steel and plexiglas necklace, by Brigitte Nahon
Brigitte Nahon, a sculptor and performance artist born in Nice in 1960 and based in New York, has developed a body of work at the crossroads of sculpture and performance. She has exhibited in institutions such as La Piscine, musée d'art et d'industrie André-Diligent in Roubaix. Her work is held in public collections, notably at the Centre national des arts plastiques, as well as in museums and institutions in Europe and the United States. Through forms in steel and Plexiglas, she explores balance, tension and movement, with a strong influence from contemporary dance.
