Geraldine LUTTENBACHER (born 1965) - Lot 67
Geraldine LUTTENBACHER (born 1965) Pivoine" necklace in gold, copper and peridot Made of copper wires set with rose quartz and small round peridots Goldsmith's hallmark GL for Géraldine Luttenbacher French gold hallmark (eagle head) Unsigned Size: 40 cm, Gross weight: 83.84 grs. A gold, copper and peridot "Peony" necklace, by Geraldine Luttenbacher. Géraldine Luttenbacher is a French jewelry designer trained in traditional jewelry techniques. After studying in Saint-Amand-Montrond and then at the BJO in Paris, she began her career in the workshops of the great houses of Place Vendôme, where she acquired a solid mastery of haute joaillerie skills. She then chose to develop a more personal approach, focusing on the creation of one-off pieces. Her approach to jewelry is akin to that of a sculptor: each piece is conceived as a precious and expressive object, in which form and material play an essential role. Her world is largely inspired by nature and organic forms. Luttenbacher likes to combine precious metals such as gold and silver with unexpected materials such as bamboo, copper, glass, bone and natural elements to create contrasts of texture and color. This dialogue between materials gives birth to jewels with a singular, poetic character. Géraldine Luttenbacher exhibited at the gallery in collaboration with Gilles Jonemann during the exhibition from September 17 to October 5, 2013, "Gilles Jonemann & Géraldine Luttenbacher."
