A pair of gold drop earrings, by Lara Koulajian.
Lara Koulajian is a French jewelry designer of Lebanese origin, who trained in architecture at Barnard-Columbia University in New York, where she lived for ten years before settling in Paris. Her career combines architectural rigor and artistic sensitivity, which she transposes into the design of sculptural, contemporary jewelry.
She began by exploring the technique of granulation, then developed a distinctive style in which form, movement and space interact with elegance. Her work is inspired as much by architecture as by dance, giving rise to pieces where lightness, fluidity and sophistication coexist. Lara Koulajian exhibited at the gallery in 2008.
