Taher Chemirik by Naïla de Monbrison
An eclectic artist, Taher has distinguished himself in several creative fields: fashion, decoration, design and, above all, jewelry. He regularly exhibits in museums, international fairs and foreign galleries.
His jewels are somewhere between jewelry and sculpture, highly personal and original, they are an immediately recognizable signature. In this exhibition, it is obvious to discover a new interpretation of his mobile ring necklaces, in gold and silver, which have made him famous.
But for this exhibition, Taher has composed with gemstones, precious stones and hard stones, true works of art like paintings in sumptuous colors.
He also has a genius for refined detail, which can be seen in his rings, earrings and bracelets. For example, he places a small turquoise on the side of a cuff in gold, silver, moss agate and brilliants ... And above all, he excels in combining stones of different colors and sizes in his jewelry: a spectacular ring in silver, gold, large rectangular chalcedony, agate cabochons, malachite and coral ... Rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, all make you dream in a debauchery of joyful creation. Taher's jewelry, both geometric and asymmetrical, is marked by his great imagination and powerful creativity, all realized with disconcerting ease.
Taher Chemirik has been exhibited at Galerie Naila de Monbrison on numerous occasions, including in 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2019.
