Vogue wrote that Lagerfeld, 'in capturing the essence of Chanel and giving it a slightly faster beat, has given a whole new momentum to modern dressing.' Suzy Menkes wrote in The Times calling the collection 'a dazzling Chanel show [where] Lagerfeld brought us young fresh clothes full of Mademoiselle's taste and his own wit.'
