Iradj Moini, born in 1959 in Teheran, is a jewelry designer who has lived in New York since 1989. His creations, inspired by nature and art, are distinguished by their extravagance and three-dimensionality. Handcrafted in his Manhattan atelier, they are adorned with semi-precious stones and mounted on a gold- or platinum-plated brass structure. Their style is reminiscent of the great American jewelers such as Tiffany and Fulco di Verdura. These one-of-a-kind pieces, which take weeks to create, have won over such renowned designers as Oscar de la Renta.
