Crafted from irregularly bent steel cables and coated with paint, this seat creates the illusion of lines suspended in space, evoking the coral reefs that line the coast of Brazil. With this 2004 model, the Campana brothers affirm their desire to break away from established conventions and standards, offering an alternative to the rigid lines characteristic of minimalist furniture of the period. EN - The common thread in the work of the Campana brothers, and particularly in this design, lies in their pursuit of lightness and weightlessness. Made from hand-bent steel cables in irregular shapes and coated with paint, this seat creates the illusion of floating lines in space, evoking the coral reefs along the coast of Brazil. Through this 2004 model, the Campana brothers assert their desire to break free from established conventions and norms by offering a bold alternative to the right angles characteristic of the minimalist furniture of the time.
