Rizzoli, New-York, 2010, p. 89, 251, 268 - Atlas of Furniture Design, Vitra Design Museum, 2019, p. 748 and 749 EN Fernando and Humberto Campana's work is deeply imbued with Brazilian culture, and in particular with the city of São Paulo. Their fascination with this sprawling metropolis, the largest on the South American continent, is reflected in this design, which evokes the favelas through this chaotic assemblage of small wooden slats. Like the city, the Campana brothers' language is, as Humberto points out, that of "error, imperfection, irrationality and imprecision".
